Dentistry is a branch of medicine that is involved in the study, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity, commonly in the dentition but also oral mucosa, and of adjacent and related structures and tissues, particularly in the maxillofacial area. In Department of Dentistry undergraduate student will be oriented about knowledge, identification skills and communication skills of dental caries, edentulous state, malocclusion, oral cancer and periodontal diseases. Department of Dentistry has been actively involved in providing standard care for prevention and correction of dental diseases/disorders.
